How early can I test?
This test can be used from 6 days before your missed period (5 days before you expect your period). Because hormone levels vary from woman to woman and can be very low in early pregnancy, you can be pregnant and still get a negative result. The chart below shows the percentage of pregnancies detected in lab testing using urine samples in early pregnancy:
How does the Clearblue Ultra Early Pregnancy Test work?
It detects the pregnancy hormone hCG (human chorionic gonadotropin) in urine. The test sensitivity is 10 mI U/ml. It is over 99% accurate in laboratory tests from the day you expect your period.
